Baseball Recap: North Platte's Losing Streak Snapped at Nine Games

North Platte had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Holdrege Dusters on Tuesday, sneaking past 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since March 29th.

The team relied heavily on Landan Greeno, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Tyler Haneborg, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

North Platte was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holdrege only posted a batting average of .240.

North Platte's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Holdrege, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.
