Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Henderson). Their defense stepped up to hand the East Henderson Eagles a 56-0 shutout on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Falcons with their most commanding win of the season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Henderson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Da'Zion Murray, who rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also caught a touchdown. Another back making a difference was Zane Mccraw, who rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
West Henderson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 209 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Henderson only rushed for 34.
West Henderson wouldn't let East Henderson keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. West Henderson can thank Zack McMinn and Alex Adams for forcing both of them.
