While Kofa might've come up empty on Thursday, Jose Castro wasn't going down without a fight. Castro went 2-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Kofa is 2-1 when Castro posts two or more runs, but 4-5 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Castro and Kofa will head out on the road to challenge Sunnyside at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Castro's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Kofa's three-game streak of wins on the road.
