It was another big night for Rushawn Greene, who dropped a double-double on 40 points and ten assists. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Emmanuel Nieves was another key player, putting up eight points along with eight assists and eight boards.

Meanwhile, Eagle Academy waltzed into their match on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 69-58 win over the Bulldogs. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Bulldogs are ranked 238th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eagle Academy pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.5 points per game. As for Wings Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
