Softball Recap: FAMU DRS Takes a Loss

FAMU DRS fell victim to Wakulla Christian School and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 15-0 to the Saints. The Baby Rattlers have struggled against the Saints recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

FAMU DRS saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jasmine Forbes, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

FAMU DRS' loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Wakulla Christian School, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Looking ahead, FAMU DRS will welcome Port St. Joe at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tiger Sharks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Baby Rattlers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Wakulla Christian School, they will head out to face off against Gadsden County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
