Baseball Recap: Northridge Takes a Loss

Northridge lost against Lakewood back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vikings came up short against the Lancers, falling 10-2.

Northridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Reeves, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. That double was Reeves' first of the season.

Northridge's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Lakewood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Northridge will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Watkins Memorial at 5:00 p.m. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lakewood, they will head out on the road to take on Walsingham Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
