Soccer Recap: Concord Falls Short Against Ranked Carroll

Concord faced Carroll in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Minutemen fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 1-0. If Concord were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to Carroll when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Carroll, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1-1.

Concord wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Northridge on the 16th. As for Carroll, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers on the 15th.
