Kerman entered their tilt with Selma on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bears. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

One reason for the win was Kerman's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 25-12.

Kerman found their leader in freshman Alicia Valle, who had seven digs and five aces.

Kerman was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive contests.

Kerman's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Selma, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Kerman will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Washington Union at 6:00 p.m. As for Selma, they will head out to take on Sierra Pacific at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
