McKinney North waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lone Star Rangers. The Bulldogs were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Rangers, so the Bulldogs were just returning the favor.

Tinley Brubaker paced McKinney North's offense, picking up eight kills. Brubaker got some help from Malia McNeal and her 13 assists. Finally, Nicole Jacobson kept McKinney North's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

McKinney North's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Lone Star, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-3.
