There's no place like home for Lafayette, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 52-42 victory over the New Iberia Yellowjackets on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Lafayette has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 21-15 record this season. As for New Iberia, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-19.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lafayette will host Sulphur at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sulphur will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Lafayette surely won't give up without a fight. As for New Iberia, they will be playing at home against Southside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
