Basketball Recap: Brooks County Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Kmina Grier and Imani Hall

Brooks County has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. Brooks County's loss on Saturday came despite strong showings from Imani Hall and Kmina Grier. Hall went 9-for-19 en route to 26 points along with six assists and five steals, while Grier went 11-for-18 on her way to 25 points and five rebounds. Those 25 points gave Grier a new career-high. Armani Frazier was another key player, putting up seven points.

Charlton County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rihanna Battle, who almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine boards. Battle has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Christiona.?? Farmer, who posted 24 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Brooks County's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Charlton County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.
