Basketball Recap: Oak Park-River Forest Comes Up Short

Oak Park-River Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 74-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glenbard West Hilltoppers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hilltoppers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-54 back in January.

Oak Park-River Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Glenbard West, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 23-5.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Oak Park-River Forest is taking a road trip to face off against Highland Park at 7:30 p.m. on February 26th. As for Glenbard West, they will square off against St. Charles East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Charles East is on a six-game streak of home wins, Glenbard West a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
