Soccer Recap: Currituck County Comes Up Short

If Currituck County was feeling good fresh off their 15-1 takedown of Hertford County last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights fell just short of the Manteo Redskins by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for Currituck County in their meetings with Manteo: they've now lost seven in a row.

Currituck County now has a losing record of 6-7-2. As for Manteo, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
