            Softball Recap: Princeton Tigers vs. Mt. Vernon Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight  loss. They were two  runs away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mt. Vernon Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  defeat the Tigers have suffered  since April 1st.
Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Mt. Vernon, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 4-5.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Princeton will face off against Gibson Southern at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Titans will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. Vernon, they will welcome Vincennes Lincoln  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
