Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Anahuac). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging an 80-35 victory over the Kirbyville Wildcats. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Anahuac pushed their record up to 10-15 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points over those games. As for Kirbyville, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anahuac will face off against East Chambers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anahuac has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Kirbyville, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats face off against the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
