Baseball Recap: Raymond Comes Up Short

Raymond lost against Quitman back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rangers came up short against the Panthers, falling 20-3. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Raymond's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Quitman, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raymond will face off against Lawrence County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Quitman, they will head out to square off against Mendenhall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
