Recap: Edison Red Raiders vs. North Miami Pioneers
The Edison Red Raiders lost against the North Miami Pioneers back in November of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Edison had to suffer through a rough 68-19 loss at the hands of North Miami. Edison was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-11.
It was another big night for Jadore Hayes, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 25 rebounds for North Miami. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Hayes has scored at least a third of North Miami's points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Rene, who scored ten points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Edison and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for North Miami, they pushed their record up to 8-11 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Miami will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against South Dade at 5:00 p.m.
