Volleyball Recap: Dallas Christian Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home

Dallas Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grace Prep Lions on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

While Dallas Christian Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Grace Prep work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-20.

The win got Grace Prep back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Dallas Christian Academy is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Prince of Peace at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grace Prep, they will square off against Lewisville at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
