It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mountain Ridge had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  77-57 margin over the Allegany Campers. The Miners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine  games by 20  points or more this season.
Leading Mountain Ridge to victory were  Cameron Breighner and  Eli Sibley.  Breighner  dropped  a double-double with 15 points and 13  rebounds, while  Sibley  dropped  a double-double with 15  points and ten  boards. That's the most  rebounds  Breighner has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of  Owen McGeady, who  scored ten points and seven  assists.
 Mountain Ridge was working as a unit and  finished the game with 19  assists. They are 14-2 when  they've passed the ball that well.
The  victory was  the sixth in a row for Mountain Ridge, bringing their record for this year to 14-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Allegany, they dropped their record down to 11-13 with the  loss, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Coming up, Mountain Ridge will venture away from home to  face off against Fort Hill  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Mountain Ridge will be up against Fort Hill's rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.57  points per  match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Allegany does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
