Osborn put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Central Trail Blazers a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Knights have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

J Williams was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, A Woods and P Parker did most of the damage at the plate: Woods went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and one run, while Parker got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Parker a new career-high. Another player making a difference was W Alverez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Osborn always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .577 or higher in six consecutive matches.

Osborn pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.9 runs over those games. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Osborn will have a chance to go back-to-back against Central: the pair will be back at it again later today.
