Baseball Recap: Madison Christian's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shekinah Christian, Madison Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on Genoa Christian Academy with a sharp 11-5 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Reegan Bryan, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Derrick(DJ) Williams also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

The victory got Madison Christian back to even at 5-5. As for Genoa Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coming up, Madison Christian is taking a road trip to challenge South at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Genoa Christian Academy, they will host Liberty Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
