Recap: Owasso Rams vs. Fayetteville Bulldogs
The Owasso Rams are ranked highly in their home state, and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the Fayetteville Bulldogs. Owasso fell to Fayetteville 69-65. Owasso's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Owasso's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jax Kerr, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Kerr's third in a row with at least ten points. Boden Williams was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds.
Owasso's loss dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Fayetteville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing North Little Rock the next time they take the court. Owasso will head out to face North Little Rock at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Fayetteville will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
