If Dexter beats Ruidoso with 18 runs on Thursday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Everything went Dexter's way against East Mountain on Saturday as Dexter made off with an 18-0 victory. Dexter's pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three contests.

Kaylonie Nevarez made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Nevarez has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Nevarez was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI.

In other batting news, Alexa Miramontes was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. Another player making a difference was Danyela Munoz, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
