John Jay beats Scarsdale for their second straight win

Recap: John Jay Patriots vs. Scarsdale Raiders
The John Jay Patriots won the last time they faced the Scarsdale Raiders, and things went their way on Friday too. John Jay had just enough and edged Scarsdale out 17-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for John Jay.
When it comes to explaining why Scarsdale lost, one person who can't be blamed is Camden Matles. Despite the final result, he gained 110 total yards and a touchdown.
John Jay has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Scarsdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Jay will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Arlington at 5:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Arlington is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Scarsdale, they will head out on the road to face off against Mamaroneck at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New York (Mamaroneck is ranked 196th, while Scarsdale is ranked 195th).
