Volleyball Game Preview: Monsignor Pace Spartans vs. MAST Academy Makos

If Somerset Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Monsignor Pace, they should've done a better job of containing Lucas Neptune. Monsignor Pace put the hurt on Somerset Academy with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday for which the team can thank Neptune, who had nine digs and five assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 25-22.

Meanwhile, MAST Academy was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They skirted past Norland 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Makos.

In the three sets MAST Academy was on fire: they won each by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 0-25, 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 15-0.

Monsignor Pace's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4. As for MAST Academy, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-4.
