Preview: Grace Christian Crusaders vs. North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights

The Grace Christian Crusaders will head out on the road to take on the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grace Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.

Last Thursday, Grace Christian strolled past Bishop McGuinness with points to spare, taking the game 60-43. Given Grace Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while Bishop McGuinness is ranked 59th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Sarah Strong, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 14 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. Icyss Storm was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, North Raleigh Christian Academy put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They blew past Cary Academy 54-12 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory North Raleigh Christian Academy has posted yet this season.

Grace Christian's victory was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.31 points. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-12.

Everything came up roses for Grace Christian against North Raleigh Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 76-32 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grace Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
