Baseball Recap: Marist Spartans vs. Henley Hornets
Marist had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged the Henley Hornets out 7-6. The victory was familiar territory for Marist who now have seven in a row.
Peyton Tyner was incredible, going 2-for-3 with a home run, six RBI, and a double.
On Henley's side, Mark Carpenter and Conner Shively did some serious damage despite the final result: Carpenter went 3-for-5 with three RBI, a triple, and a run, while Shively went 3-for-5 with a home run and two runs. Aiden Hayes was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
