Fairfield Central piles up the points against Columbia

The Fairfield Central Griffins can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Columbia 66-16 on the road. With that win, Fairfield Central brought their scoring average up to 50.7 points per game.

Fairfield Central was led to victory by Jordyn Adams and Jazzlyn McMillan. Adams scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and five assists, while McMillan dropped a double-double on 28 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McMillan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tamia Evans, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Fairfield Central has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Columbia, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-16.

Fairfield Central will head out on the road to challenge Hartsville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Keenan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keenan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Columbia in South Carolina (Keenan is ranked 52nd, while Columbia is ranked 263rd).
