Basketball Recap: Point Loma Pointers vs. Coronado Islanders
Point Loma had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took down the Coronado Islanders 60-45 on Wednesday. This was payback for the Pointers, who suffered a 65-54 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jax Marple went supernova, putting up 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of William Conquest, who put up ten points and three steals.
