Recap: Rangeview Raiders vs. Ralston Valley Mustangs
The Rangeview Raiders fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the Ralston Valley Mustangs on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a serious blow against the Mustangs, falling 64-34. Rangeview was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-16.
Ralston Valley was led to victory by Santana Sabus and Sophia Sabus. Sabus scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds, while Sabus went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 1 assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Sabus has scored at least 25% of Ralston Valley's points. Mia Alfaro was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Rangeview has fallen quite a ways from their 16-8 record last season and are now at 1-2. As for Ralston Valley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.
Rangeview is on the road again on Thursday and play against Fossil Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. As for Ralston Valley, they will face off against Sierra at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
