Basketball Recap: Elyria Comes Up Short

Elyria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 54-39 to the North Ridgeville Rangers. If the Pioneers were looking for revenge after losing 65-51 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Elyria's record now sits at 0-8. As for North Ridgeville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

When Elyria and North Ridgeville next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Elyria will try to stop Keystone's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 1:30 p.m. on December 28th. Meanwhile, North Ridgeville will challenge Columbia and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th.
