Volleyball Recap: Tates Creek Falls Short Against Ranked St. Xavier

Tates Creek faced St. Xavier in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Commodores took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Commodores of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

Tates Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for St. Xavier, the victory was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-1.

Looking ahead, Tates Creek will be playing at home against Western Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Xavier, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against DeSales on the 19th.
