Baseball Recap: Northside Christian Comes Up Short

Northside Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lake Arthur Tigers, falling 20-0. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in April of 2022.

Northside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lake Arthur, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Northside Christian will challenge Reeves at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northside Christian has given up an average of 17 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Lake Arthur, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 28-1 victory against Gueydan on the 7th.
