Baseball Recap: Carroll Chargers vs. Huntington North Vikings

In what's become a running theme this season, Carroll gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They beat the Huntington North Vikings by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-3. The victory was nothing new for Carroll as they're now sitting on three straight.

Aaron Behnfeldt looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Carroll let Asher Wagoner and Jaxon Sparks loose on the outfield. Wagoner scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Sparks scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Conner Barkel, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Carroll's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-8. As for Huntington North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
