Football Game Preview: Somerset Academy Panthers vs. Vero Beach Indians

The Somerset Academy Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Vero Beach Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Somerset Academy's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Central on Friday. They were outmatched by the Rockets and fell 39-0. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 259th, while the Rockets are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, Vero Beach put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Treasure Coast for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-0 victory. That 49 point margin sets a new team best for the Indians this season.

Somerset Academy better keep an eye on Efrem White. He was instrumental in Vero Beach's win, throwing for 240 yards and three TDs while completing 90% of his passes, and also rushing for 41 yards and a pair of scores. Jonathan Hillsman also helped out with an impressive 86 receiving yards.

Somerset Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Vero Beach, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.
