It was a good run, but Boone Grove unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Washington Township Senators. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wolves have suffered against the Senators since September 10, 2019.
Boone Grove couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Washington Township a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 32-30, 25-23, 25-21.
Despite the loss, Boone Grove still got an impressive performance from Ryder McCoy, who had 31 digs. Another player making a difference was Max Pollnow, who had 14 assists and six digs.
Boone Grove's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Washington Township, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
