Bowie strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Parkdale Panthers get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Taylor Brown, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. He has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 13 times he's played. Christian Richardson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Bowie always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .571 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Bowie's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Parkdale, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2.

Bowie didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against High Point on the 9th. As for Parkdale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-3 loss against Northwestern on the 7th.
