Basketball Recap: Howard Skates Past North East Carolina Prep with Ease

Howard won the last time they faced North East Carolina Prep and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Howard Eagles blew past the North East Carolina Prep Husky 44-10. That 34 point margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Howard and bumps their season record up to 4-7. As for North East Carolina Prep, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Howard will challenge Mount Zion Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North East Carolina Prep, they and Gates County will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Gates County will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something North East Carolina Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
