Wagoner had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 62-54 win over the Locust Grove Pirates on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 76-58 win back in February.

Locust Grove lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tyler Wiggins, who shot 56% from the field on his way to 13 points and seven rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Titus Stokes, who posted eight points.

Wagoner's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Locust Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.
