Softball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against SS Seward, falling 25-6. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 13-0 to SS Seward when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Arianna Wilson made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Amy Szuba was another key player, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for SS Seward, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Liberty will head out to face off against Port Jervis at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for SS Seward, they will venture away from home to square off against Tri-Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
