Softball Game Preview: Cedar Cliff Colts vs. Chambersburg Trojans

Cedar Cliff is 0-10 against Chambersburg since May of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Colts will host the Trojans at 4:15 p.m. Cedar Cliff has given up an average of 11.4 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Red Land hit Cedar Cliff with a seven-run fourth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Colts came up short against the Patriots, falling 16-5.

Addisyn Alandar made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Chambersburg waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Mountain Lions 14-7. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Cedar Cliff's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Chambersburg, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.
