Volleyball Recap: Rancho Bernardo Takes a Loss

If Rancho Bernardo was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of University City on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Broncos came up short against the Scripps Ranch Falcons on Friday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Broncos have suffered against the Falcons since August 31, 2018.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-15.

Rancho Bernardo now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Scripps Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Rancho Bernardo will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Poway at 6:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Scripps Ranch, they will be playing at home against Eastlake at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
