Basketball Recap: Athens Comes Up Short

Athens was the 49-45 winner over Troy when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Athens Red Hawks fell 41-32 to the Troy Colts on Monday.

Athens has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Troy and bumps their season record up to 8-14.

As of now, neither Athens nor Troy have any future games scheduled.
