The University Christian Christians posted their biggest victory since November 28, 2023 on Saturday. They put the hurt on Matanzas with a sharp 70-50 win. The victory was familiar territory for University Christian who now have three in a row.

University Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was KARRINGTON JOHNSON, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of CALVIN CARTER, who scored eight points.

University Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Matanzas, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

University Christian will take on Oakleaf at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Oakleaf presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than University Christian in Florida (Oakleaf is ranked 94th, while University Christian is ranked 438th). Matanzas' road trip will continue as they head out to face Davenport at 3:00 p.m. on January 15th. Davenport is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
