The Mountain View Mountain Lions will challenge the Sahuarita Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Sahuarita will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Mountain View extended their winning streak to five on Thursday. The Mountain Lions blew past Maricopa 14-3. 14 seems to be a good number for the Mountain Lions as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Arianna Figueroa made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched.
