Basketball Recap: Kody Kimball and Bryce Cooper Secure Win for Dexter

Dexter won the last time they faced Penobscot Valley and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Dexter Tigers walked away with a 41-29 win over the Penobscot Valley Howlers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Dexter was led to victory by Bryce Cooper and Kody Kimball. Cooper went 7 for 16 to rack up 16 points along with five boards and four steals, while Kimball went 6 of 7 on his way to 16 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Kimball a new career-high in field goal percentage (86%). Another player making a difference was Ethan Doherty, who posted five points.

Dexter's record now sits at 11-7. As for Penobscot Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
