Cullman Christian skates past Victory Christian with ease

Recap: Cullman Christian Lions vs. Victory Christian Lions

The Cullman Christian Lions waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Victory Christian 60-28 at home. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Cullman Christian had established a 23 point advantage.

Victory Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Amelia Haney and Addie Lee. Haney scored nine points along with six steals, while Lee scored ten points along with five rebounds and four steals. Haney has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played.

Cullman Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Victory Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 17-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cullman Christian and the Conquerors will face off at 5:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Coosa Christian is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Victory Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
