Volleyball Recap: Stevenson Comes Up Short

Stevenson lost against Barrington back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Patriots fell 2-0 to the Fillies/Broncos.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22.

Stevenson's offense was headlined by Adrianna Linnane and Abigail Inman, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Ryler Bondad and her eight assists.

Stevenson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Stevenson will be taking part in a tournament against Evanston at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Barrington, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lincoln-Way Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
