Volleyball Game Preview: Neuse Christian Academy Lions vs. Thales Academy Apex Titans

Neuse Christian Academy is 1-9 against Thales Academy Apex since September of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 8:00 p.m. Thales Academy Apex took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Neuse Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Neuse Christian Academy turned things around against Friendship Christian on Friday. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Friendship Christian scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21, 21-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Thales Academy Apex suffered their biggest loss since September 2nd on Friday. They came up short against St. Thomas More Academy, falling 3-0. The Titans have struggled against the Chancellors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Thales Academy Apex now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Neuse Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Neuse Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Thales Academy Apex in their previous matchup on Thursday. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
