Mishicot is 9-1 against Reedsville since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Indians will challenge the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Mishicot is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Oakfield just ended the team's 17-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Oaks by a score of 3-1.

Kiran Sanford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Mishicot saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zaida Strupp, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, Reedsville came up short against Valders on Saturday, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost five in a row.

Clare Delsman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Reedsville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Mishicot, their loss dropped their record down to 17-4.

Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Mishicot hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .368. However, it's not like Reedsville struggles in that department as they've averaged .347. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Mishicot took their win against Reedsville in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 15-3 score. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
